This is the WWW Redirect Checker, a program that examines whether www.domain-name.com and domain-name.com obtain the same information or redirect users to the same source. A www redirection is a rule applied by the server of your website to redirect traffic from the non-www version of your site to the www version, or vice versa.
Then, a person types domain-name.com into their browser; a browser such as Google Chrome will direct them to domain-name.com. And when the request arrives at your server, this redirection will inform the browser that the right web address is www.domain-name.com. Then again, you can configure this redirection in a different manner, sending users from www.domain-name.com to domain-name.com.
